DACUM Research Chart for the GIS Technician Position
Using the results of our DACUM (Developing A Curriculum) survey of GIS professionals, we were able to compile a chart of major duties and their associated tasks for real-world GIS technicians. This chart is an invaluable tool for us in our goal of creating a professional and real-world GIS curriculum aligned across the secondary school, 2-year college, and 4-year college levels.
