Total 57% of cropland is used for trees, shrubs, flowers, and flowering plants. These are the high value crops, that yield the most money for acreage planted, and are therefore attractive to our local farmers. While ornamental plants make up a huge portion of the crop output, fruits, veggies, meats and poultry do account for a good portion as well, which is great for the local treasure hunters in the local markets and farm stands.
