Project Proposal

Individual Papers

Project Proposal

Before we started our project, we had to come up with a Project Proposal to present to our professor.  Here you will find our paper and 5 minute slide-show presentation.  The following items were included:

  • The title of our project
  • Members' names
  • Coordinator's name
  • One paragraph to explain our project (200-300 words),
  • Weekly schedules and individual assignments

Final Paper

After it is all said and done, we were required to write up a Final Report and prepare a 15 minute presentation of our project.  The report included:

  • Team Members
  • Problem Statement (Why are we doing this project? Why are we using Internet Mapping?)
  • Literature review (Other similar projects or fundamental theories - scientific journals or on-line resources)
  • Database management (Where does our datasets come from?)
  • Results (Introduce your web design and published data)
  • Discussion

Individual Evaluation Papers

Finally, since this was a group project, individual papers were needed for the professor to assess our performance.  In 3-5 pages we were to answer the following questions:

  • What was the major accomplishment of our group project?
  • What was your own contribution to the project?
  • What did you learn from this project?
  • If you were to re-do this project, which part of the project would you improve?  What do you suggest for your project?
