SDSU Geography Awareness Week (November 13-19, 2005)
With the funding support of the research grant and as part of our efforts to create GIS career and technology awareness, the SDSU Geography Department played host to a highly successful open house for high school students, students and faculty from other disciplines,

2005 NSF National Visiting Committee Meeting (March 24-25, 2005)
Every year, as with most NSF-funded projects, a group of distinguished individuals, representing various specialty areas related to the project scope, conduct an onsite review and provide valuable advisement in order to more effectively meet original project goals and objectives. The first such meeting was held in 2005.
