Virtual Cache Answers

 

 

The following coordinates are the Virtual Geocache points around the SDSU campus.  Once you have located these Visual Geocaches and answered the questions, check your answers below.
 

  • Number of Bikes - 32° 46’35” N, 117° 04’25” W
    • How many bike stands do you see here?
      Right out side of Storm Hall. There are 5 of the bike stands.

 

  • The Building - 32° 46’32” N, 117° 04’22” W
    • Find out what is the building called?
      It is called Scripps Cottage.

 

  • Kind of Coordinate System - 32° 46’27” N, 117° 04’18” W
    • What kind of coordinate system they used on the wall to mark places?
      They use “degree minutes seconds.”

 

  • Name of SDSU - 32° 46’26” N, 117° 04’12”W
    • Look for the name that SDSU used to be called on the ground.
      SDSU used to be called SDSC.

 

  • Silver Domes - 32° 46’28” N, 117° 04’11” W
    • There are some silver domes to your north. How many can you see?
      Two domes can be seen here.

 

  • Tony Fulton's Saying - 32° 46’31” N, 117° 04’13” W
    • There is a sign with Tony Fulton’s head on the wall. Read the sign and find out what did he say about space and beauty.
      He said “Spaces matter. Beauty humanizes us all. ”

 

  • ATMs - 32° 46’32” N, 117° 04’14” W
    • How many ATMs do you see here?
      There are four ATMs here.

 

  • Name of Garden - 32° 46’36” N, 117° 04’17” W
    • What is the name of this garden?
      It is called Mediterranean Garden.

 

  • Bells - 32° 46’33” N, 117° 04’18” W
    • Face the golden globe and look up. How many bells did you see on the tower?
      There should be five bells.
