Pan and Zoom
Zoom inZoom inZoom in to a specific location on the map. Select this tool with the mouse. Either select on the map where to zoom in or drag a rectangle around the area to zoom in.
Zoom outZoom outZoom out from a specific location on the map. Select this tool with the mouse. Either select on the map where to zoom out from or drag a rectangle around the area to zoom out from.
Center Zoom inCenter Zoom inZoom in to the center of the current map. Select this tool with the mouse and the map will automatically zoom in. Repeatedly select this tool to continue zooming in. Set Zoom Factor in Map Properties for how much the map zooms in.
Center Zoom outCenter Zoom outZoom out from the center of the current map. Select this tool with the mouse and the map will automatically zoom out. Repeatedly select this tool to continue zooming out. Set Zoom Factor in Map Properties for how much the map zooms out.
PanPanMove (re-center) the map. Select this tool with the mouse. Either select on the map and the map will center on that point or select on the map and drag it to reposition the map center.
Full ViewFull ViewZooms out to the full viewing area.
Pan NorthPan NorthSelect this arrow with the mouse to pan the map north. Set the Pan Factor in the Map Properties page to control how much the map pans.
Pan SouthPan SouthSelect this arrow with the mouse to pan the map south. Set the Pan Factor in the Map Properties page to control how much the map pans.
Pan EastPan EastSelect this arrow with the mouse to pan the map east. Set Pan the Factor in the Map Properties page for to control much the map pans.
Pan WestPan WestSelect this arrow with the mouse to pan the map west. Set Pan the Factor in the Map Properties page for to control much the map pans.
Data
Map LayersMap LayersLists the layers that can be displayed on map, listed in the Map Legend, identified by the Information tool, and selected with the Select and Auto Select tools. Check (turn) on the layers to display on the map, list in the legend, and get inforation for. More than one layer may be identified at once when selecting on the map with the Information tool.
Map LegendMap LegendDisplays a map legend (map key) for the current map.
Add New MapAdd New MapLists the other maps that can be added for viewing.

FindFindOpens a page for finding and highlighting features on the map based on a search.

Auto Select On
Automatically selects (with every pan and zoom) all features within the mapped area and gets information about them. The selected features are higlighted in color on the map. Before using this tool, select the Map Layers option to specify the layer that is selected with this tool. Then use this tool to start and stop the Auto Select function. Open the Map Properties page to change the color and symbology of selected features.

Clear SelectClear SelectionClears the selected features highlighted in color on the map and listed in the table.
InformationInformationGets information about features on the map. Select this tool with the mouse, then select features on the map for which information is desired. Before using this tool, select the Map Layers option to specify layers that return information when using the Information tool.
Printing
PrintPrintOpens a page for printing the map with or without a map title and legend.
Customize
Map PropertiesMap PropertiesOpens a page for setting Map Properties such as the Map Size, the highlight color used by Find and Select, the percent of the map changed used by the Map Panning tools, the scale multiplier used by the Zoom in and Zoom out tools, and the distance units displayed on the Scale Bar.
